Pedro López Estepa

Pedro López Estepa is the Director of Automotive at Real-Time Innovations (RTI), the largest software framework company for autonomous systems. In this position, he manages RTI’s fast-growing global automotive business and strategy for RTI Connext Drive, the first automotive-grade safety-certified data-centric communications framework for next-generation electric and autonomous vehicles. More than half of the top 10 funded vehicle newcomers are using RTI software to radically change the approach to car engineering, and automotives running on RTI software are in production and on the road in North America, Europe and Asia.

Mr. López Estepa is a member of the Spanish Association of Autonomous Vehicle (AEVAC) where he contributes as an expert in Software-defined Vehicles and Autonomous Systems. He has more than 10 years of automotive market strategy and engineering experience, working extensively with global automotive and automation industries. Pedro joined RTI from u-blox, the Swiss semiconductor leader, where he led automotive market strategy at the short-range business unit.

Pedro holds a MSc in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Granada and an International Master of Business Administration degree from the Politecnico di Milano. He participates at the Global Leadership Programme organized by San Telmo Business School, where the organization brings together world's leading entrepreneurs, politicians and senior managers in a forum for strategic reflection focused on the current global context.
