Gereon Quast

Gereon Quast has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Gereon started their career as a Praktikant und Diplomant at ASENTICS GmbH & Co. KG from November 2004 to September 2005. Gereon then joined Bayer Business Services and worked as a Developer SAP CRM from January 2006 to August 2007, followed by a role as a Developer SAP Netweaver for Java from August 2007 to May 2008. Gereon eventually became a Global Change Manager at the same company from May 2008 to December 2013. Gereon then worked at Bayer Materialscience AG as a CIM Consultancy Manager / SAP CRM Process Expert / Architect from December 2013 to March 2017. Gereon'smost recent role is with Covestro, where they initially served as the Head of eBusiness & Pricing, specializing in web application development, management, development automation, and devops from March 2017 to January 2020. Currently, Gereon Quast holds the position of Head of Cloud Platform Engineering at Covestro since January 2020.

Gereon Quast completed their education from 2000 to 2005 at Universität Siegen. Gereon earned a Master of Computer Science / Diplom Informatiker degree with a specialization in Angewandte Informatik Fachrichtung Elektrotechnik. Additionally, they obtained a Master of Computer Science degree with a field of study in Informatik mit Anwendungsfach Elektrotechnik during the same period at the same institution.
