Tom Erik Carstensen

Tom Erik Carstensen has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Tom Erik started their career as a System Developer at Onix As, where they worked on the development of a maintenance control system for offshore installations. Tom Erik then transitioned to a role as a Correctional Officer at Kriminalomsorgen. Following this, they joined NCC as a Site Manager and later took on roles as a Project Manager, Change Agent, and Area Manager for large asphalt paving projects. Tom Erik then joined COWI as the Head of Section and Market Director, responsible for tender processes and customer relations in infrastructure projects. Currently, they hold the position of Group Senior Business Development Director at COWI, leading the Group Market Team and overseeing the development of market tools and processes.

Tom Erik Carstensen earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology from Leeds Beckett University in 2002-2003. Tom Erik then pursued further education at The Norwegian School of Information Technology from 1999 to 2001, where they obtained the Candidate degree in Information Technology. In 2004-2006, they attended Kriminalomsorgens utdanningssenter and completed a program in Fengselsbetjent. Recently, in 2021-2022, they undertook an Executive MBA in Strategisk ledelse at the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH).
