Jack Jania

Jack Jania has a diverse and extensive work experience. Jack is currently the Vice President of Product Management & Innovation at CPI Card Group, a position they have held since December 2018. In addition, they are a Secure Electronic Payment Consultant and Advisory Board Member for uQontrol since January 2018.

Prior to their current roles, Jack Jania had a long tenure at Gemalto Inc. from 2006 to 2018. During this time, they held various senior positions including Senior Vice President of Global Strategic Alliances from July 2013 to January 2018, and Senior Vice President/ General Manager of Secure Transactions NORAM from December 2006 to July 2013.

Before joining Gemalto, Jack Jania worked at Axalto Inc. from 2005 to 2006 as the Director of Sales & Marketing for North America. Here, they managed a team responsible for account management and negotiated commercial agreements with wireless operators.

Prior to Axalto, Jack Jania held the position of Director of Field Marketing for North America Mobile Communications at Axalto, formerly Schlumberger, from 2001 to 2005. In this role, they managed a team responsible for technical and commercial support, negotiated agreements with wireless operators, and developed technical market requirements for new product development.

Before entering the field of secure transactions, Jack Jania worked at Schlumberger from 1996 to 2001 as the Director of Technical Field Marketing.

Jack started their professional career in marketing at Advantest from 1991 to 1996.

Jack Jania attended DeVry University from 1987 to 1990, where they studied engineering. Jack then attended The University of Texas at Austin from 2004 to 2005, focusing on marketing. Finally, they attended The Wharton School in 2006 and 2007, with a field of study in sales management.
