Christian Andersson has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Christian began their career in 1997 as a Project Manager at Verizon Enterprise Solutions, where they were responsible for telecom-related works and the purchase of subcontractors. Christian then transitioned to the role of Network Engineer, focusing on the backbone extension of UUNET IP network in EMEA. At Verizon, they also served as a Senior Network Engineer, designing and implementing IP VPN networks for global Fortune 500 organizations.

In 2008, Christian joined Symantec as a Senior Systems Engineer, specializing in presales within security. Christian worked with various products, including endpoint security, firewalls, web-filtering, and network access control. Additionally, they presented at seminars, events, and roadshows.

Christian's next move was to Citrix in 2010, where they served as a Senior Systems Engineer, responsible for presales within networking products such as WAN optimization solutions and remote access solutions.

Christian then joined Palo Alto Networks in 2012, taking on the role of Senior Systems Engineer for major accounts. Here, they were involved in the presentation, demonstration, design, and proof of concept of Palo Alto Networks' next-generation security platform. Christian also participated as a speaker at seminars, events, and roadshows.

In 2016, Christian worked as a Senior Systems Engineer at Viptela, a company that was later acquired by Cisco. Christian played a crucial role in the fast-growing organization, disrupting network infrastructure technology and becoming a leader in the software-defined WAN (SD-WAN) segment.

Christian continued their journey at Cisco, working as a Technical Solution Architect in the enterprise routing and global service providers department. Christian primarily focused on Cisco-SDWAN (formerly Viptela) and contributed to the EMEA region.

Next, Christian joined Palo Alto Networks again in 2018 as a Senior Systems Engineer for major accounts, before moving to Illumio in 2019 as a Systems Engineer for the Nordic & Baltic region. At Illumio, they enabled organizations to reduce cyber risk by providing visibility, segmentation, and control of network communications.

In 2022, Christian transitioned to Aviatrix, where they held the role of Senior Systems Engineer before joining Cradlepoint in 2023 as a Systems Engineer for the Nordic & Baltic region.

Throughout their career, Christian has gained extensive experience in systems engineering, networking, security, and project management.

Christian Andersson attended DSV Stockholms Universitet from 2005 to 2006, where they studied Data & System Science. Prior to that, from 1992 to 1995, they attended Kungsängsskolan Sala for their upper secondary technical school education. In terms of additional certifications, Christian obtained the Aviatrix Certified Engineer - Multi-Cloud Network Associate certification from Aviatrix in an unspecified month in 2021. They also obtained the Aviatrix Certified Engineer - Multi-Cloud Network Professional certification from Aviatrix in February 2022. Lastly, Christian obtained the Cradlepoint Certified Network Professional certification from Cradlepoint in June 2023.
