Paul Pearson has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Paul started their career as a Telecommunication Mechanic in the Royal Corps of Signals, where they served in various locations globally. After leaving the army, Paul worked as a network engineer for Nynex Network Solutions, responsible for managing the SDH/PDH Telecoms voice network and CATV network in North Manchester. Paul then became a field engineer for Jaguar Communications, installing, commissioning, and troubleshooting WAN/LAN technologies.

Paul's career then took him to Alcatel-Lucent, where they held multiple roles and worked in different divisions. Paul started as an ATM engineer for Newbridge Network and later moved to the optic team, working on SDH/PDH and DWDM solutions. Following that, Paul joined Indigo Telecom Group as a Pre Sales Manager, focusing on voice solutions and data networking for Alcatel-Lucent OmniPCX Range.

In 2010, Paul joined RuggedCom as a Senior Field Application Consultant, providing technical support, training, and pre-sales support for Siemens-RuggedCom wireless product suite. Paul then moved to Cisco Systems in 2013 as a System Engineer, specializing in Cisco's enterprise products with a focus on routing, IoT, and WAN acceleration.

Most recently, Paul has been working with Cradlepoint since 2015. Paul started as a Senior Manager of System Engineering for EMEA, where they led a team of system engineers supporting Cradlepoint's customers, partners, and distributors across the EU, Middle East, and Africa. Paul was later promoted to Director of Systems Engineering EMEA, thanks to mentorship from Lisa Guess.

Throughout their career, Paul has gained a wealth of experience in telecommunications, network engineering, pre-sales, and management roles.

Paul Pearson attended Bury Church High School from 1981 to 1986. No specific degree or field of study was mentioned. In addition, they obtained a certification in the Cradlepoint Expert Exam from Cradlepoint in September 2020.
