David Woodham has over 30 years of work experience in various roles related to firmware and software development. David started their career at Seagate Technology, where they worked as a Heads/Media Engineer. David then joined Hewlett-Packard as a Software Engineer, developing embedded features for the HP Superdome utilities subsystem.
After that, David worked at IBM as an Advisory Software Engineer, leading a team to develop features for the BladeCenter Advanced Management Module. David also worked at Dell as a Solutions Engineer, developing and supporting customized server fleets for cloud data centers.
David then became a Software Engineer at CTG, a contractor to IBM, where they developed firmware and software for the IBM Power Series Flexible Service Processor. Following this, they joined Micron Technology as an SSD Firmware Engineer, developing production-quality firmware for Micron Solid-State Drive products.
Currently, David is working at Cradlepoint as an AP/WiFi Firmware Engineer, where they develop firmware for 802.11 wireless routers. Throughout their career, they have gained experience in programming languages such as C, C++, Java, and Python, and has worked on various platforms and operating systems.
David Woodham completed their education history with a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from Boise State University, which they attended from 2015 to 2020. Prior to that, they obtained a B.S. degree in Computer Science from the University of Central Oklahoma, where they studied from 1991 to 1996. David'seducational journey began at the University of Oklahoma, where they pursued a B.S. degree in Engineering-Physics from 1982 to 1987.
