Deborah Barnes

Deborah Barnes has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries.

Deborah is currently working as a Senior Vulnerability Analyst at Cradlepoint since October 2022.

Prior to this, Deborah was the Founder II Cybersecurity, Intelligence, & Information Analysts at Leaders in Cybersecurity Intelligence Information Analysts in the Greater Chicagoland Area from January 2015 onwards.

Deborah also worked as a Cyber Threat Intel and Vulnerability Management Analyst at Grainger from April 2019 to October 2022.

Earlier in their career, they served as an Information Security Analyst at Sirius Computer Solutions from May 2018 to April 2019, and at Forsythe Technology from April 2017 to May 2018. At Forsythe Technology, they also held the positions of Information Security Administrator from September 2015 to April 2017 and Information Security Intern from July 2015 to September 2015.

Deborah has also worked as a Personal Trainer at PFD Fitness from October 2008 to 2014 and as a Sports Performance Coach and Personal Trainer at Lifetime Fitness from 2006 to 2008.

Deborah Barnes completed their education with an accumulation of degrees and certifications. In 1996-2000, they obtained their Bachelor's degree in Applied Exercise Science from Springfield College. In 2002-2003, they pursued further education, earning a Master's degree in Movement Studies and Exercise Science from East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania. Later on, in 2014-2016, Deborah pursued their Master of Science (MS) degree from Utica College, specializing in Cybersecurity with a concentration in intelligence. Alongside their academic achievements, they also acquired additional certifications. In 2017, they obtained the GISF certification from GIAC. In 2019, they became a NEXPOSE CERTIFIED ADMINISTRATOR through Rapid7. Lastly, in 2023, Deborah accomplished the Cradlepoint Certified Sales Associate certification granted by Cradlepoint.
