Hien Tran

Hien Tran has extensive work experience in the field of RF engineering. They are currently working as a Senior RF Systems Engineer at Cradlepoint since October 2021. Prior to that, from 2018 to 2021, Hien worked at Tarana Wireless, Inc. as a Senior RF Engineer, contributing to the development of non-line of sight solutions for internet connectivity.

From 2003 to 2018, Hien served as a Hardware Engineer at Qualcomm, specifically at Qualcomm-Atheros. They designed various generations of 802.11 HW Access Points and Client modules during their time there.

Hien's career in RF engineering started in 1997 at Anritsu-Wiltron, where they worked as a Microwave Design Engineer and Test Engineer. In this role, they designed RF components and prototyped RF Blocks, as well as developed test automation for different products.
