Rakesh Pathak

Rakesh Pathak is a Principal Engineer in Network Services at Cradlepoint since June 2018. Prior to joining Cradlepoint, they worked at Cisco for several years where they held various technical leadership roles. These roles include being a Technical Leader II for both Digital Network Architecture - Assurance and Inter Cloud Fabric projects, where they led the architecture and development of multi-tenant hybrid cloud SDN controllers. Rakesh also served as a Technical Leader II for the Cloud Services Group, where they were the lead architect for the Network Services Controller (NSC), a multi-tenant SDN controller for managing virtual machines and network functions in a private cloud. Before that, they were a Technical Leader I for the Cloud Centric Networking Group, wherein their role involved developing an SDN controller for enterprise data centers. Rakesh also worked as a Technical Leader I for the Gigabit Switching Business Unit, focusing on the development of features and the support of various classification-based functionalities on Catalyst 4k switches. Their foundational work experience began at Pipelinks, where they were a Member Of Technical Staff.

Rakesh Pathak holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from the University of Louisville. Prior to this, they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda.
