Scott Anders

Scott Anders has a diverse work experience in the field of technology. Scott began their career as an IT Specialist at The Network Group, where they supported websites at Hewlett Packard and provided leadership to a team of programmers. Scott then joined Boise Inc. as a Lead IS Engineer, where they designed and developed IT architecture solutions and ensured the integrity of software. After that, they worked at Packaging Corporation of America as a Software Development Manager, where they supervised and coordinated the development and maintenance activities for the Packaging applications development team.

In 2014, Scott joined Idaho Power as the Business Systems Development Leader, leading the custom application development team. Scott also previously led the BI & Analytics team as well as the Integrations team. Their roles involved managing and directing a high-performance development team, responsible for new development and daily maintenance of business critical applications and processes. Scott also worked as an Enterprise Architect at Idaho Power, supporting IT Architect efforts and assisting in the Enterprise Technology Advisory Board processes and activities.

In 2022, Scott joined HP as a Cloud Software Engineering Manager, where they managed cloud software engineering projects. Scott is currently working as an Engineering Manager at Cradlepoint.

Scott Anders obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems from the University of Idaho, where they studied from 1997 to 2001. In 1999, they also briefly attended Universidad del País Vasco/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea to study Spanish Language. Later, from 2011 to 2013, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree with a focus on Business from Colorado State University.

In addition to their formal education, Scott has obtained several certifications. Scott became a Red Hat Certified Technician in April 2008 and a Certified Scrum Master in April 2014 through institutions like Red Hat and Scrum Alliance, respectively. In February 2022, they achieved the Certified SAFe 5 Practitioner certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. Moreover, in August 2022, they obtained the Learning Kubernetes certification from LinkedIn. Finally, they have an OnBase Certified System Administrator certification from Hyland, the creator of OnBase, although the specific months and years of obtaining this certification are not available.
