Can Aktar

Jon Aktar has worked in various roles and companies throughout their career. Can "Jon" started their career at Millipore in 2000, working as a Design Engineer II until 2002. Can "Jon" then took on the role of Project Engineer III until 2004. In 2007, Aktar joined Wyeth Pharmaceuticals as a Project Manager IV. Later that year, they returned to Millipore as a Sr. Project Manager until 2009.

In 2013, Aktar joined CRB as the Business Unit Director for the Boston location. Can "Jon" held this position until 2019 when they became the Business Unit Director for Switzerland. In 2021, they were promoted to Sr. Director of Business and Strategy. Currently, Aktar holds the position of Vice President of Operations, DACH at CRB since 2023.

Jon Aktar obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 1999. Can "Jon" then attended Tufts University from 2001 to 2004, where they obtained a Certificate in Biotechnology Engineering and a Master of Science degree in Engineering Management. In 1993, Jon graduated from Northfield Mount Hermon School with a high school diploma. In 2013, they obtained the certification of Certified Pharmaceutical Industry Professional from ISPE.
