Dan Gniady

Lead Gameplay Designer at Creative Assembly

Dan Gniady has a diverse work experience in the gaming industry. Dan is currently working as the Lead Gameplay Designer at Creative Assembly, leading a team of over 70 developers on a PvEvP extraction-arena first-person shooter game. Previously, they worked at Bungie as a Gameplay Designer, where they contributed to multiple releases of Destiny 2 and was the Feature Owner of a new gameplay element called Stasis damage type. Dan also worked as a Producer at Bungie, supporting the Sandbox Gameplay and PvP teams. Prior to that, at Red Storm Entertainment, they served as an Associate Producer for an unannounced first-person shooter game in the Tom Clancy Ghost Recon series, overseeing production schedules and art-related tasks. At Activision, they started as a QA Tester before being promoted to Associate Producer, where they managed the design process for several game titles.

Dan Gniady attended the University of Minnesota from 2001 to 2005, where they earned their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science and Sociology.
