Samir Mirani

Samir Mirani has a wide range of work experience in various roles and industries. Samir started their career in 2000 as a Web Designer and Computer Technician at Pracoss Automation Inc, where they worked on projects in Qatar and gained experience in SCADA setup and network administration. In 2008, they worked as a Helpdesk Technician at Cycle Gear and as a GPS Software Test Technician at Magellan, conducting software tests and troubleshooting issues. Samir then joined Chevron in 2009 as a Project Specialist/Web Developer, where they worked on the Richmond Renewal Project and created an Intranet website and a secure Computer Based Training system. From 2009 to 2011, they worked at Swat Energy Inc as a Web Application Engineer, where they created a webpage and a web-based Project Management Program. In 2011, they joined Scientific Certification Systems as a Web Developer/Programmer, where they engineered and developed a Rapid Development Kit and used it to create a Supply Chain Discovery application. Since 2012, they have been working at Credit Karma, initially as an Engineering Manager, then as a Senior Engineering Manager, and currently as the Director of Data Engineering.

Samir Mirani has a Bachelor of Sciences degree in International Business and Logistics as well as a Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management. Samir attended the California State University Maritime Academy for both degrees. Additionally, Samir Mirani attended the International Polytechnic Highschool, but no degree or field of study was specified. In terms of certifications, they obtained the Machine Learning certification from Coursera Course Certificates in January 2016.
