Tom Hinds

Tom Hinds has extensive experience in the lighting industry, with a focus on product management and engineering. Tom joined Cree Lighting in 2018 as the Director of Product Management, overseeing indoor, warehouse, and canopy lighting. Prior to joining Cree Lighting, Tom worked at Cree for seven years, from 2011 to 2018, as a Senior Product Portfolio Manager. Before that, they held various roles at Lutron Electronics, starting in 2005 as a Project Electrical Engineer and later transitioning into Product Management and Design and Development Engineering.

Tom Hinds has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Marketing from Lehigh University, which they obtained in 2013. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Engineering from Florida International University in 2005. In addition to their formal education, Tom obtained the certification of Pragmatic Marketing Certified from Pragmatic Marketing in June 2011.
