Martin Kruger

Martin Kruger has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Martin currently holds the position of Director of Sales and Marketing at Cricut, a role they assumed in April 2022. Previously, they served as the Head of Middle East, Turkey, Africa, and Russia at Cricut from January 2021 to April 2022.

Prior to their time at Cricut, Martin worked at Seagate Technology from 2016 to 2021. During their tenure there, they held the position of Sales Manager for the Middle East, Turkey, and Africa region from February 2019 to January 2021. Martin led a team of 6 sales representatives and successfully implemented key strategies that contributed to the team's success. Martin was recognized as the EMEA Sales Manager of the Year in 2019. Before that, they served as the Territory Sales SADC at Seagate Technology from March 2016 to February 2019 and was awarded Global Sales Hero in 2018 for their achievements.

From 2015 to 2016, Martin worked at Pinnacle Africa as an External Account Manager, handling sales and marketing strategies for corporate and government customers. Martin successfully built key accounts and brought new business to the organization.

Between 2013 and 2015, Martin was a Storage Business Unit Manager at Tarsus Technologies, where they managed a team responsible for various storage products. Martin successfully launched new products and maintained solid market share positions.

Martin started their career at Platinum Micro (now Tarsus Technologies) in 2012 as a Seagate Product Manager. Martin then joined Ingram Micro in 2009 as an Intel, Targus, AOC, Billion, and VKOM Product Manager. Prior to that, they worked at Promed Computer Services as an Operations Controller from 2007 to 2009.

Martin's early work experience includes a role as a Call Centre Agent at Chelsea Football Club from 2005 to 2006.

Overall, Martin has demonstrated strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and a track record of achievement in sales and marketing roles throughout their career.

Martin Kruger obtained their GTDC Diploma in GTDC Dustribution Finance from VIA International in the year 2014. Prior to that, they attended High School Marais Viljoen from 1997 to 2011, where they completed their Matric and passed with University Exemption.
