Jaime Lovelace

Lovelace joined the CHoR team in 2021 during a pivotal time for mental health in the community and across the country. Lovelace leads efforts to ensure optimal mental health care for kids across all of CHoR – whether they present in the ED or an ambulatory clinic – or require inpatient care or follow-up at VTCC.

Lovelace is a seasoned, board-certified psychiatric nurse with more than 20 years of experience in mental health and 14 specifically in nursing. She joins us from Menninger Clinic in Houston, Texas. Jaime received her MSN from Duquesne University and a BSN from Chatham University. She holds a BS in psychology from the University of Pittsburgh. She’s an active member of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association and currently serves on their Stress Resources Workgroup. Jaime is active in nurse education and promotion as a member of the American Nurses Association’s new graduate mentorship program and through conference presentations on topics including improving safety for adolescent patients and nursing leadership.
