Anagh Katyayan

Anagh Katyayan has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as a Senior Marketing Science Analyst at Critical Mass since October 2020. In this position, they collaborate with creative and strategy teams to develop testing roadmaps, design experiments, and implement learnings in a performance marketing setting. Anagh delivers results to client teams through clear and concise data stories, while also conceptualizing data architectures and creating pipelines for large, complex datasets across multiple projects.

Prior to their current role, Anagh worked as a Marketing Science Analyst at Critical Mass from September 2021 to October 2022. In this role, they collaborated with analysts to visualize and understand data using Tableau, creating complex and interactive dashboards from scratch. Additionally, they gained practical experience with various data science tools, such as correspondence analysis, regression, and clustering.

Before joining Critical Mass, Anagh freelanced as a Web Designer at Pinwheel Digital from January 2017 to June 2021. Anagh created low-cost websites for local businesses, generating leads, negotiating contracts, and maintaining client relations. Despite juggling client projects with part-time work and university commitments, Anagh excelled at managing multiple responsibilities in an organized manner.

Anagh also gained valuable experience as a Marketing Science Analyst Intern at Critical Mass from May 2019 to August 2019. During this internship, they combined their advanced analytics background with marketing domain knowledge. Anagh built site tagging wireframes for client websites, delivered insightful performance reports, and leveraged programming skills for various data science and data engineering tasks.

Furthermore, Anagh worked as a Mathematics Instructor at Mathnasium - The Math Learning Center from March 2017 to May 2019. Anagh gained teaching experience by instructing math to students ranging from grades 2 to 12, developing the ability to explain complex math and statistics concepts in a simple and intuitive manner.

Lastly, Anagh started their work experience as a Private Tutor at Tutor Doctor from November 2016 to September 2017.

Anagh Katyayan attended the University of Calgary from 2016 to 2020. Anagh earned a Bachelor's Degree in Economics (Honors) and pursued a minor in Data Science during their time at the university.
