Shyam Shankar

Shyam Shankar has extensive work experience in product management and leadership roles in various companies. Shyam is currently serving as the Director of Product Management at Cropin since 2022. Prior to that, they worked as the Leadership - Product Management at Cashfree Payments from 2021 to 2022. Shyam also held the position of Product Management Leader at Lowe's India from 2020 to 2021. Shyam has notable experience as the Head of Product Management at Clustr, where they managed the product organization, created product strategies, and grew the team. Before that, they worked as a Lead Product Manager at Target from 2018 to 2019. Shyam has also contributed to Jio as the DGM-Lead Product Manager - Consumer products from 2016 to 2018, where they built and led the customer experience team, utilized data analytics for insights, and developed campaign strategies. Their work at Walmart as a Senior Product Manager from 2012 to 2016 focused on product strategy and development, utilizing Big Data technologies, and maintaining project plans. Shyam's early work experience includes being an Applications Engineer at Oracle Corporation from 2007 to 2011, where they handled payroll modules and contributed to development projects.

Shyam Shankar attended Great Lakes Institute of Management from 2011 to 2012, where they obtained a PGPM degree in Marketing. Prior to that, they pursued a B.E. degree in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering from Anna University from 2003 to 2007. Shyam Shankar completed their Grade XII education in English Math Physics Chemistry Computer Science from Sri Sankara Vidyashramam between 2001 and 2003.
