WHO YOU ARE

The Manager is responsible for providing support to Crossmedia Marketing and New Business, both part of the Growth/New Business Development team.  Marketing’s role is to present Crossmedia to the advertising industry at the right time and places with the right messaging, all in service of growing the agency.  New Business’ role is to support agency growth by winning new client business and supporting organic growth efforts.

(Please note this role requires a candidate have proximity to our New York office. We offer a hybrid work setting with employees working both onsite and from home).

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY: 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

GENERAL:

  • Learn about Crossmedia clients including services provided and the work outputs
  • Get to know agency leaders and department heads (understand their roles, skills and passions)
  • Read the industry trade magazines and stay current on latest trends and topics

 MARKETING INFRASTRUCTURE:

  • Maintain marketing calendar in coordination with PR agency
  • Maintain weekly team status reports in coordination with PR agency
  • Maintain marketing budget tracking and reconciliation in coordination with finance team
  • Organize internal documentation and keep repository of current information (team bios, headshots, preferences, case studies, etc.)

MARKETING RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in the management of Crossmedia’s social channels and corresponding community management on LinkedIn, Instagram, X and Facebook
  • Assist in HubSpot Marketing Hub/CRM maintenance and hygiene in tandem with IT department
  • Assist in growing CRM contact list and classification of leads for outreach
  • Assist in the development and execution of email marketing campaigns via HubSpot Marketing Hub (content, targeting, reporting, etc.)
  • Assist in-house designer with asset development (email, landing page development, new product development, etc.)
  • Assist with award submission development from content creation to meeting deadlines
  • Ability to travel and assist marketing team and PR agency at conferences and events (internal & external)
  • Assist in capturing photographic content while on-site at conferences and events for internal and external usage

NEW BUSINESS RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • In partnership with Group Director, Business Development, manage our new business pitch structure and team including managing timelines, scheduling team meetings, ensuring on-time delivery of all materials throughout process
  • Manage and responding to in-bound pitch opportunities (RFI and RFP process)
  • Manage agency case studies, credentials decks & sizzle reels
  • Manage all administrative tasks throughout pitch process including booking hotels, conference rooms, and pitch experience 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3-4 years of experience in advertising, marketing or related field.
  • Ideal is experience working on a new business/growth or internal marketing team
  • Excellent document writing, proofreading, and editing skills
  • Strong organizational and follow-through skills
  • Passion for the advertising industry and desire to learn all facets of agency marketing
  • Flexibility, independence and ability to multi-task
  • Support a fast-paced team
  • Ability to stay calm and positive under high pressure situations
  • Experience with cloud-based collaboration tools (e.g. MS Teams, Slack, etc.)
  • Computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Keynote)
  • HubSpot Marketing Hub familiarity is a bonus

Please note this role requires a candidate have proximity to our NY office. We offer a hybrid work setting with employees working both onsite and from home.

Salary range is $85k - $100k commensurate with experience. Compensation is determined on the skills, qualifications and tenure of the applicant.
