Chris Loizou

Chris Loizou is the current Head of Delivery at Crowdcube. Prior to that, they worked as a Product Owner at Mindera UK from January 2019 to January 2020. There, they worked with a number of companies to embed and improve understanding of agile methodologies, mainly scrum and kanban, using a variety of practices & techniques to remove delivery impediments, blockers and improve efficiency. The role also included facilitating workshops, sprint zero's and supporting the product teams to build and maintain value driven backlogs. Before that, they were a part of a small team tasked with establishing a new Software Development Centre in Cyprus, primarily supporting Extra Energy and ExtraEnergie in the UK and German markets respectively. There, they were responsible for building Product vision and discovery, building customer metrics, maintaining refined product backlogs, effective prioritisation according to business value and stakeholder needs, sprint planning and coordinating test and release management. Chris Loizou started their career as a Business Analyst at British Gas in July 2010 and worked there until December 2016.

Chris Loizou has a certification from the Scrum Alliance in CSPO.

Chris Loizou reports to James Johns, VP, Engineering. They work with Jim McCarthy - Systems Engineer, Dave Shepherd - Craft Developer, and Luke Quinnell - Senior Software Engineer.
