Susie Leonard has a diverse work experience spanning various sectors and roles. Susie started their career as a Volunteer and Traveller in South East Asia and Central America, gaining valuable experience in different cultures. Susie then worked as a Business Partner for Shelter - The housing and homelessness charity and later moved on to become an International Financial Controller at the Zoological Society of London (ZSL). Next, Susie joined Marie Curie UK as a Caring Services Management Accountant before transitioning to the role of Finance Business Partner for Services at Shelter. Susie then worked at BBC Media Action as the Head of Project Finance - Africa & Europe, managing project accountants and overseeing financial viability. Following that, Susie held positions at Cancer Research UK (CRUK) as a Finance & Insight Manager- Volunteer Fundraising and at Aga Khan Foundation UK as a Programme Finance Manager. Currently, they are working as the Head of Project Accounting at Crown Agents.
