Jun Zeng

Jun Zeng is a Senior Applied Scientist specializing in Motion Planning and Vehicle Controls at Cruise since July 2022, with expertise in trajectory generation, reactive motion planning, and vehicle control systems. Previously, Jun was a Graduate Student Researcher at UC Berkeley College of Engineering, focusing on robotics science in control, planning, optimization, and learning. Internships include experience at Waymo and PlusAI, Inc., where Jun worked on multi-agent interaction and motion planning, respectively, as well as research roles at IFSTTAR and Valeo. Jun Zeng holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, a Diplôme d'ingénieur in Applied Mathematics and Mechanics from École Polytechnique, and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering and Automation from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
