James Hsu, UXMC, has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. James most recently worked at Crunchyroll as the Director of Product Design. Prior to that, they worked at FabFitFun, where they held the positions of Director, Product Design & UX and Principal Product Designer. At FabFitFun, James led a team focused on improving e-commerce initiatives and user satisfaction, resulting in significant improvements in comprehension, conversion, and call volume reduction. James also established a universal design system to enhance engineering efficiency and create consistent user experiences.
James has also been involved with AIGA Los Angeles, where they served as a Member of the Board of Advisors and as the Studio Tour Series Event Chair. Furthermore, they worked at PXL Agency as the Art Director and Lead UX/UI Designer, collaborating with movie studio clients and overseeing information architecture standardization.
