Kevin S.

Kevin S. has a diverse work experience in the field of translation and subtitling for Japanese animation shows. Kevin started their career at Crunchyroll, Inc. in 2014 as a Lead Editor and Translator, responsible for translating from Japanese to French and editing French subtitles. Kevin also managed the editing team and ensured internal consistency of the subtitling process. In 2017, they joined JSICMF, where they worked as a Translation Supervisor, overseeing teams and providing training to translators. Kevin also handled the subtitling of Toei Animation series and took charge of certain translations. In 2018, Kevin worked as an independent translator for Animation Digital Network (ADN), where they provided subtitle translations for various animated series. Kevin joined WAKANIM in 2019 as an independent translator, VF (voice-over) adapter, and reviser. Kevin worked on translating and adapting French versions of shows like Deca-Dence, The Day I Became a God, and Horimiya, collaborating with VF adapters.

Kevin'seducational journey began in 2011 when they studied at the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne. Kevin completed the L1-2 level program and delved into the subjects of droit et histoire (law and history).
