Virginie Verin

Virginie Verin has over 15 years of experience in the entertainment industry. Virginie started their career as an intern at the European Commission's PMO in 2004. Virginie then worked as a Juriste Stagiaire at Gaumont in 2005, followed by a role as a Juriste at M6 Thématique from 2006 to 2007. In 2007, they joined VIZ Media Europe as a Juriste and stayed there until 2011. At VIZ Media Europe, they gained experience in legal affairs and contract negotiations.

In 2011, Virginie Verin joined Crunchyroll as a Business and Legal Affairs Senior Manager. Their role involved drafting and negotiating acquisition and licensing agreements for the distribution of Japanese content in Europe. Virginie also negotiated various other types of agreements, such as service providing, publishing, and video distribution partnerships. Their tenure at Crunchyroll is ongoing.

Virginie Verin obtained their Bachelor's degree, Maitrise, in International and European Law from Université Paris Nanterre from 1998 to 2003. Following that, they pursued a Master's degree, Master 2, in D2A (Droit et Administration de l'Audiovisuel) from the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne between 2010 and 2011. Lastly, they completed their LLM in European Legal Studies from the University of Bristol from 2003 to 2004.
