Sylvain Vaillancourt

Sylvain works on designing and implementing Crusoe’s remote connectivity between computing modules. He was most recently in the high frequency trading (HFT) arena as Director of Global Network Architecture at Jump Trading, responsible for creating best in class infrastructure between trading venues globally. He previously spent over 10 years in the Telecom industry at Global Crossing (L3/ CTL) as Vice President of Sales Engineering, supporting large global enterprise and telecom carriers from a technical design standpoint for subsea and terrestrial telecom needs. He holds a college degree in Social Science from André-Laurendeau college in Lasalle (Montréal), Québec. He enjoys playing hockey, golf and snowboarding.
