Emily Rau is a Coastal Management Specialist with extensive experience in coastal management and environmental sustainability. Currently contracted with CSS, Emily supports NOAA's Office for Coastal Management, focusing on Great Lakes Restoration Initiative projects. Previous roles include serving as the Coastal Infrastructure Project Coordinator for the Wisconsin Coastal Management Program, where Emily led habitat-focused infrastructure projects and developed outreach strategies. As a J. Philip Keillor Wisconsin Coastal Management-Sea Grant Fellow, Emily managed the update of the Coastal Processes Manual and facilitated research webinars. Earlier experiences encompass roles at Michigan Sea Grant and the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy, contributing to various environmental initiatives and outreach programs. Emily holds a Master of Science in Environment and Sustainability from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Sciences from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
