Bill Bettencourt

Bill Bettencourt is a seasoned professional in child welfare and social policy with extensive experience spanning over two decades. Currently a Senior Consultant at BEAUTYBASE LLC and an Independent Consultant for Child Welfare Services, Bill also serves as a Senior Fellow and Senior Associate at the Center for the Study of Social Policy, focusing on child welfare initiatives. Past roles include Senior Advisor for the upEND Movement at the University of Houston, Senior Consultant for the Annie E. Casey Foundation, and Program Officer at the Stuart Foundation. Bill's earlier experience includes serving as Deputy Director of the Family and Children's Services Division at the San Francisco Human Services Agency. Bill Bettencourt holds a Master’s degree in Public Service from the University of San Francisco.
