Jamie Humphrey, MPH, serves as a CDC/CSTE Applied Public Health Informatics Fellow at the Hawai'i State Department of Health, focusing on developing an algorithm to identify acute cases of Hepatitis C. Prior experience includes working as a Graduate Research Assistant and Data Analyst on the MUSE project at the Rollins School of Public Health, where Jamie contributed to urban sanitation and empowerment research. Jamie also interned at Truth Initiative, analyzing tobacco and nicotine consumption, and conducted research at the Department of Veterans Affairs on calcium signaling defects. Educational qualifications include a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from Emory University and two Bachelor of Science degrees in Physiology and Neurobiology and Public Health Science from the University of Maryland.
