Claudio Fernandes

Claudio Fernandes is a researcher currently serving as Researcher III at CTC - Centro de Tecnologia Canavieira since May 2023. Previously, Claudio worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Florida from August 2022 to May 2023, focusing on quantitative genetic analysis in bermudagrass. Claudio's academic journey includes a Ph.D. in Plant Breeding and Genetics from Universidade Federal de Lavras, where also earned a Master's degree and a Bachelor's degree in Agronomy. Additional roles include Research Scholar at the University of Florida and General Coordinator at GEN UFLA, alongside experience in informatics coordination and scientific initiation. Claudio is pursuing an MBA in Data Science and Analytics at Escola Superior de Agricultura "Luiz de Queiroz," expected to complete in September 2024.
