Founder And Board Director at cTRL Therapeutics

Shana Kelley is an accomplished leader in the fields of chemistry and biomedical engineering, currently serving as President of Chan Zuckerberg Biohub Chicago since March 2023 and Neena B. Schwartz Professor at Northwestern University since September 2021. As a founder and board director at both CTRL Therapeutics and Arma Biosciences, Shana Kelley has played a pivotal role in advancing innovative therapies. Additionally, Shana Kelley contributes to scientific guidance as a member of the Scientific Advisory Board at Sartorius and participates on the Board of Trustees for FACIT. An esteemed academic with a long-standing tenure at the University of Toronto since 2006, Shana Kelley has held leadership positions including Director of the Precision Medicine initiative and involvement in the Canadian Academy of Health Sciences and the Executive Leadership Team of Medicine by Design. Shana Kelley earned a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Caltech, followed by a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Molecular Biology at Scripps Research and a B.A. in Chemistry from Seton Hall University.
