How you can help make a better world of work

We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join our collaborative, efficient and fun data analytics team. In this role, you will partner with the sales, customer success and product teams, providing actionable insights, metrics and dashboards to help lift their performance. Being part of a dynamic team, your role will sometimes bleed into analytics engineering to enable our teams to self-service. In addition, you will occasionally support other teams in the business like product development or marketing. In doing so, you will unlock value that can help delight our customers and internal teams and take our product to the next level.

Our technology stack is constantly evolving, and consists of:

  • Looker for visualisation and reporting
  • Redshift as our SQL engine
  • dbt for data modeling
  • Amplitude for product analytics

As part of this team of amazing humans, 

You will be responsible for:

  • Working closely with leaders in the organisation to understand their analytics needs, in sales, customer success and product.
  • Creating and maintaining scalable, actionable and easily digestible dashboards in our business intelligence (BI) tool to automate reporting and forecasting.
  • Provide actionable recommendations to improve customer outcomes (retention, expansion or product adoption) by analysing product usage and customer data.
  • Defining metrics to track internal performance and customer outcomes.
  • Identifying data gaps and collaborating with the analytics engineers to model and sync new fields into our data warehouse, BI tool and customer management systems (Salesforce and Vitally).
  • Collaborating with other analysts to define processes and best practices and elevate the analytics practice to the next level.

You have:

  • Advanced SQL for descriptive analytics.
  • Experience building dashboards and analysing data with business intelligence tools such as Looker, Tableau or Power BI (preferably with Looker). Experience coaching others on data storytelling.
  • Knowledge of statistical methods to summarise, describe and find relationships in data.
  • Experience with data cleaning, validation and modelling, preferably with dbt.
  • Understanding of common software practices like version control, continuous deployment, and automated testing.
  • Interest in b2b SaaS sales or customer success processes, metrics and systems (e.g. CRM software, recurring revenue, churn, win rate).
  • A leaning towards scalable analytics and analytics tooling, ability to negotiate with stakeholders to prioritise strategic insights and dashboards.
  • Some experience analysing data with Python or R is desirable but not required.

  • Able to make the complex simple and choose the right medium and visualisation, to persuasively communicate with a range of stakeholders.
  • A proactive collaborator who effectively involves and communicates with cross-functional stakeholders to achieve shared results.
  • Passionate about coaching and sharing your analytics knowledge with the business.
