Assistant Quality Assurance Manager at Culture Fresh Foods

Iven Sherman has been working in the quality assurance industry since 2015. From 2015 to 2021, they have held various roles at different companies. Iven began their career as a Quality Control Laboratory Technician at Dannon (Yocrunch), where they were responsible for verifying quality and reliability standards and inspecting product ingredients. Iven then moved on to The Millard Group as an Information Management Specialist. In 2014, they joined Unilever as a Laboratory Stability Technician, where they performed data entry and sensory testing of small and large finished formulated batches. Iven also monitored product stability, oversaw and trained two departments, and assisted chemists to produce small and large scale skincare batches. In 2012, they worked as a Human Resources Coordinator at ALVEG. Iven also held a Project Limulus Internship from 2014 to 2015. During this time, they studied the ecology of the Long Island Sound Horseshoe Crab population and gathered data for conservation programs. In 2013, they were an Intern at Sacred Heart University's Biology Department, where they researched and calculated the frequency and the reverse mutation rate of five different E. Coil strands. Finally, in 2012, they worked as a DAQ Quality Analyst at Covidien, where they operated laboratory testing equipment and reviewed and tested results for accuracy and disposition.

Iven Sherman attended Sacred Heart University from 2009 to 2014, where they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Biology/Biological Sciences, General.
