Khushroo Gandhi

Vice President, Product Development and Manufacturing at Curate Biosciences

Khushroo Gandhi has an extensive work experience in the field of biosciences and product development. In 1989, they joined PBH as a Director, where they set long term strategic goals for R&D and oversaw product development and safety testing for FDA filings. Khushroo then moved to Caliper LifeSciences in 1997, as a Director, where they managed the development and scale-up of microfluidic chip and reagent manufacturing. Khushroo also collaborated with foundries for the production of polymeric microfluidic devices. At Caliper, they worked until 2011 and then joined Caliper, a Perkin Elmer Company, as a Site Manager. In this role, they were responsible for the overall operation of the site, including production, engineering, quality, and facilities management. Khushroo managed a team of 45 people and had a total revenue of $20M and a total budget of $6.5M. After a couple of years, Khushroo joined Tecan Systems in 2013 as a Consultant until 2017. Currently, they are working as the Vice President of Product Development and Manufacturing at Curate Biosciences since 2014.

Khushroo Gandhi attended Cathedral High School, but no specific start or end dates were provided for this educational experience. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor of Technology degree in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay from 1978 to 1983. Subsequently, they obtained their Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Southern California between 1983 and 1988.
