Sindula Tshoma

Dr. Sindula Tshoma serves as the Anesthesia Medical Officer at the CURE Children’s Hospital of Zambia. In his role, Dr. Tshoma provides pre-operative assessment, anesthesia, and post-operative care to children and adults. Dr. Tshoma holds a degree in medicine from the University of Kinshasa and was trained in anesthesia from the same university. He has over 18 years of experience in anesthesia administration.

He moved to Zambia in 2003 and joined the country’s largest university teaching hospital, where he worked in anesthesia for five years. In 2008, he joined CURE Zambia as an Anesthesia Medical Officer. In addition, he is an instructor for Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and over the years, he has contributed to the training of coworkers and people outside the hospital in (PALS).
