Silviya Velani

Silviya Velani has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering, with a focus on iOS development. Silviya is currently working as a Data Engineer at Curinos since October 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Software Developer at Hootsuite from June 2022 to August 2022. Before that, Silviya worked at Fourplay Social as a Software Development Engineer from March 2021 to February 2022, where they played a key role in developing an iOS app for a double dating application and implemented various features using Firebase RealtimeDB and QuickBlox.

Silviya also gained experience as a Software Engineer at OpenXcell from April 2019 to January 2021, where they designed and implemented complex iOS apps and collaborated with the scrum team to translate client requirements into user stories.

Silviya's work experience began with an internship at SculptSoft, where they worked as a Software Engineer Intern - iOS from June 2018 to December 2018.

Silviya Velani began their education journey in 2015 at LDRP Institute of Technology & Research, Gujarat Technological University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering. Silviya completed their degree in 2019.

In 2017, Silviya obtained a certification in Programming with Java from the ACADEMY FOR COMPUTER TRAINING (GUJ) PRIVATE LIMITED.

In 2018, they earned two additional certifications. The first one was "Smart Gujarat for New India Hackathon 2018(Final Competition)" awarded by the Education Department Government of Gujarat. The second certification was "Intro to Python for Data Science" from DataCamp.

Currently, in 2021, Silviya is pursuing a Postgraduate Degree in Software Engineering Technology - Artificial Intelligence at Centennial College. Their expected graduation year is 2022.
