Sergio Martínez Rodríguez

Sergio Martínez Rodríguez has extensive experience in research and operations management. In 2019, they were hired as the Director of EU Operations and Operations Project Manager for CURRENT FOODS, as well as the R&D Manager for Herooj. In 2017, they were a R&D Trainee for Danone Dairy, where they were actively involved in all phases of product development. In 2015, they were a Research Assistant for Karolinska Institutet - Miguel Hernández, where they were tasked with data analysis. In 2014, they were a Leonardo da Vinci's Internship for Karolinska Institutet, where they combined computer-assisted software, molecular biology and functional analyses to elucidate and confirm the effects of brominated flame retardants on the retinoid system.

Sergio Martínez Rodríguez obtained a Bachelor's Degree in BIOTECHNOLOGY from Universidad Miguel Hernández de Elche between 2010 and 2014. Sergio then pursued an M.Sc at Universitat de Barcelona from 2016 to 2017. In April 2020, they obtained a Food And Beverage Manager certification from Università Bocconi. Additionally, in January 2016, they obtained an IELTS - Advanced Certificate (C1) from Cambridge English Language Assessment.
