Piyush Mishra

Piyush Mishra has a diverse work experience in the technology field. Piyush is currently working as a Software Engineer at Customer.io since 2022. Prior to this, Piyush worked as a Software Consultant at Adori Labs, Inc. from 2021 to 2022, where they built audio ad campaign management servers and various backend services.

From 2016 to 2020, Piyush was the Co-Founder of Verloop, where they led the tech team and made significant product and business decisions. Piyush also played a key role in architectural and engineering decisions and built an API-first company using gRPC and Twirp.

Before Verloop, Piyush worked as a Software Engineer at MagicTiger from 2015 to 2016. Piyush worked on frontend development using AngularJS and contributed to messaging and orders system services. Piyush also built the offers and rewards service.

Piyush co-founded GoDeliver in 2015, which was later acqui-hired by MagicTiger. In GoDeliver, Piyush worked on validating the business model and built the backend using Django and DRF. Piyush also worked as a delivery boy in the initial stages.

Prior to that, Piyush worked as a Software Engineer at GroovePacker from 2013 to 2015 and various other companies from 2011 to 2013. Piyush also had a contract developer role at Google during the Summer of Code in 2011.

Piyush Mishra completed their Bachelor of Technology degree in Electrical Engineering from Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (formerly UCE) in Burla. Piyush attended this university from 2007 to 2011.
