Barry Citrin

Barry Citrin has extensive work experience in the finance and banking industry. Barry is currently the Head of CRE Portfolio Management at Customers Bank since March 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Bankwell Bank as a Senior Vice President and Director of Portfolio Management from April 2017 to December 2022. Before that, they served as a Senior Vice President in charge of NY Commercial Real Estate Portfolio Management at BankUnited from July 2014 to September 2016. Barry has also worked at Parallel Asset Management, where they held the position of Managing Director - Underwriting and Asset Management from January 2008 to June 2014. Additionally, they worked at Triquest Financial Services as a Senior VP from 1995 to 1997, at Sonnenblick-Goldman as the Director of Mortgage Lending from 1989 to 1994, and at Travelers Insurance as General Manager from August 1981 to 1989. Throughout their career, Citrin has demonstrated their expertise in portfolio management, underwriting, and lending.

Barry Citrin attended Brandeis University from 1975 to 1979, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in History. Barry then pursued further education at Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management from 1979 to 1981, earning a Master's in Business Administration with a specialization in Finance and Accounting.
