Abigail Whittington has a diverse work experience starting from 2015. Abigail began as a Social Media Intern at Literally, Darling where they posted articles on various social media platforms, created a social media campaign to boost website traffic, and produced graphics for the website's social media accounts. In 2016, they became an Assistant Fiction Editor at Rappahannock Review and then transitioned to a Senior Editorial Intern role at CollegeFashionista, where they wrote and edited monthly articles about campus fashion trends and supervised junior editors.

In 2019, Abigail worked as an Editorial Intern at Modern Luxury and Hearst Magazines, where they gained experience in producing content and contributing to editorial projects. Abigail continued to develop their skills in 2019 as an Editorial Intern at Supergreat, where they pitched and wrote original content, created editorial challenges to encourage user-generated content, and produced social media content to increase reach and app downloads.

Abigail progressed within Supergreat to become a Brand Marketing Assistant, where they crafted and executed creative briefs for brand partners, pitched story ideas to increase external links and domain authority, and identified partnership opportunities. Abigail was then promoted to the role of Brand Marketing & Partnerships Manager, responsible for establishing and managing client relationships with over 100 beauty brands and retailers. In this role, they successfully launched the app's online marketplace and collaborated with the engineering team to develop tools and features that accelerated partnership growth.

Most recently, Abigail joined Cut.com as a Junior Brand Strategist in 2023.

Abigail Whittington completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Creative Writing at the University of Mary Washington from 2014 to 2018. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Magazine Writing at New York University from 2018 to 2019.
