James Murray

James Murray is the Vice President of Clinical Informatics & Interoperability at CVS Health. James has also previously served on the board of directors for the eHealth Initiative and as a faculty member at the Harvard School of Public Health Executive and Continuing Professional Education. Prior to their current role, they were the Chief Information Officer for a healthcare consulting company and held various other positions in information technology at CVS Health and Partners Healthcare.

James Murray has a MS in Medical Informatics from Northwestern University and a BA in Economics from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. James also has a certification from the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) in Certified Professional in Healthcare & Management Systems (CPHIMS).

They are on a team with David Fairchild - Chief Medical Officer, MinuteClinic & Associate Chief Medical Officer, CVS Health, Bruce Culleton - VP, Chief Medical Officer - Kidney Care, and Donna Rosen - VP, Client Clinical Services - CVS Health. James Murray reports to Sree Chaguturu, EVP, Chief Medical Officer.
