Mikaela Carnes

Mikaela Carnes is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in business management, event coordination, and hospitality. Currently serving as Owner and Chief Executive Officer of Building Bloc NW since October 2024, Mikaela provides vital support for Owner Associations to enhance their operations. In addition, Mikaela has been a Business Association Manager at CWD Group, Inc. since March 2020, overseeing Condo Association portfolios and managing financial and project-related tasks. Previous roles include Owner of Sugar & Spice Events, Director at Wedding Network Seattle, Event Coordinator at MV Skansonia, and various positions in the hospitality sector, including Chief Steward at Chevron and Bosun/Deckhand at Cruise West. Mikaela holds a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from Bradley University and a certificate in Culinary Skills from the International Culinary Center.
