Amir Uval

Amir Uval has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Amir is currently working as a Tech Lead - Android at CWT, where they lead the Android Guild and develops the myCWT Android app. Amir also led an AI initiative to improve travel agents' efficiency.

Prior to their current role, Amir worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Facebook, where they gained valuable experience from 2020 to 2022.

Before joining Facebook, they worked at Carlson Wagonlit Travel as a Full Stack Engineer from 2018 to 2020. There, they were responsible for developing new features, refactoring code, and leading efforts to modernize legacy code.

Amir also has experience as a Mobile Developer at Wix.com, a Lecturer at Shenkar - Engineering. Design. Art., and as the Owner and Developer of Timesolutely. Amir founded and served as the CEO of MindTheApps, a company that created an app discovery engine.

Earlier in their career, Amir worked at Motorola - Mirs Communications Ltd as a Product Manager and Partner Liaison Manager / Software Architect. Amir also worked at Sun Microsystems as a Team Leader and Senior Software Engineer, and at Nortel Networks (Bay Networks) as a Software Engineer.

Throughout their career, Amir has demonstrated expertise in Android development, Java, and software engineering.

Amir Uval completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at Tel Aviv University from 1995 to 1997. Amir then pursued an MBA in Technology Management and Marketing from Tel Aviv University from 1998 to 2003. Prior to their higher education, Amir attended Tichon Hadash from 1985 to 1988, although no specific degree or field of study information is available for this period.
