Nick Mendez

Nick Mendez has held various roles in the IT industry since 2005. Nick began their career at Rackspace Hosting as a Lead Generation Manager, followed by roles as an Enterprise Complex Sales, Sales Manager, Acquisition Sales Manager, and Senior Sales Manager. In 2014, they moved to OnRamp as a Sales Manager - Healthcare and then to MongoDB, Inc. as a Sales Development Manager. In 2015, they held the role of Head of North American Sales Development at Tidemark before joining Optiv Inc. as a Cloud Security Leader in 2016. In 2018, they were a Field Sales Manager at Cogeco Peer 1 and in 2019 they were a Regional Channel Manager - TOLA at PhoenixNAP. Most recently, they were Managing Director - Enterprise East Sales and Customer Success, Data & Security Sales Manager - Americas, and Data Sales Manager - Americas at Rackspace Technology from 2020 until 2022 when they began their current role as Director of Sales, North America at CyberFortress.

Nick Mendez has a diverse educational background. Nick obtained a BBA in Business Management from the University of the Incarnate Word in 2002, after studying Business at Odessa Junior College from 1995 to 1998. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including SalesOS Certification from ZoomInfo in October 2022, Veeam Sales Professional (VMSP) and Veeam Technical Sales Professional (VMTSP) from Veeam Software in October 2022, Alert Logic Sales Professional Certification from Alert Logic in November 2019, General Property & Casualty Insurance License from the Texas Department of Insurance in June 2016, and Certified VMWare Sales Professional (VSP) from VMware in October 2013.
