Kevin Hare

Kevin Hare has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Kevin started their career as a Field Service Engineer at BAE Systems Saudi Arabia from 1987 to 1993. Kevin then worked as a Consultant and Trainer at Emtec, Inc., where they specialized in Novell and Microsoft products.

Kevin then moved on to 3Com, where they initially worked as a Post/Pre Sales Systems Engineer for named accounts, providing break-fix services, implementing equipment installations, and managing large-scale network projects. Kevin was with 3Com from 1997 to 2000.

Following their time at 3Com, Kevin joined Extreme Networks as a Presales Systems Engineer, focusing on network design and implementation, including layer 3 switching, protocol-based VLANs, power over Ethernet, and wireless technologies. Kevin remained with Extreme Networks from 2000 to 2004.

Kevin then joined Juniper Networks as a Systems Engineer, specializing in security products from 2004 to 2006. Kevin then moved on to FireEye as a Senior Systems Architect, where they worked as a Senior Sales Engineer for named accounts. Kevin specialized in the malware attack detection and blocking platform, HELIX solution, and assisted in designing and presenting solutions to customers. Kevin was with FireEye from 2011 to 2022.

After FireEye's merger with McAfee Enterprise, Kevin joined Trellix as a Senior Solutions Architect, supporting three account executives and covering the entire portfolio of Trellix offerings. Kevin focused on understanding customer concerns and needs while providing top-level support. Kevin was with Trellix from 2021 to 2023.

Most recently, Kevin joined IONIX as a Senior Systems Engineer in 2023, utilizing their expertise in systems engineering.

Kevin Hare attended Royal Air Force No1 Radio School from 1980 to 1983, where they pursued a TEC degree in Aviation technology. Prior to that, from 1976 to 1980, they studied at Kelsterton College, specializing in TEC Computer programming with a focus on Mainframe coding. Additionally, they have some educational background in Computer Science from Kelsterton College UK, although specific start and end years are not provided.
