Sarah Mathew

Sarah Mathew is an experienced professional with a strong background in technical program management and software engineering. Sarah began their career at Lucas Systems as a Software Engineer, where they gained expertise in .NET, MS SQL Server, and MS Visual Studio. During their time at Lucas Systems, Sarah was responsible for adding application enhancements and backend bug fixes for over 50 clients, focusing on customer success and quality. Sarah also served as a subject matter expert for more than 20 clients, troubleshooting complex database performance issues.

Sarah then transitioned to Louisiana Tech University as a Graduate Research Assistant, where they focused on computer vision and image processing. Their research involved demonstrating the advantages of edge processing for early identification of sea state on buoy-based cameras and developing a wave height algorithm with an 85% accuracy rate.

Following their work at Louisiana Tech, Sarah joined Esri as a Software Developer Intern, where they gained experience in C++, C#, JavaScript, and .NET. Sarah developed a tool to efficiently add attachments using Pro SDK, significantly reducing the time required to create maps. Sarah Mathew completed their education in the field of computer science and computer engineering. Sarah obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from Louisiana Tech University, from the years 2018 to 2020. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Engineering from Louisiana State University, from the years 2010 to 2014.
