Shane Markley

Shane Markley is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in various roles, currently serving as a Senior Systems Engineer at Palo Alto Networks since July 2019. Concurrently, Shane holds the position of Chief Mentor at Cybrary and previously served as Vice President of the Southern Nevada Cybersecurity Alliance from November 2016 to December 2019, where collaboration among local cybersecurity groups was promoted. Prior to Shane's current roles, experience includes positions such as Cyber Threat Intelligence Consultant III at Verizon Enterprise Solutions and Cyber Operations Team Lead/Sr. Security Analyst at Southwest Gas Corporation. Shane's career began at Penn State University, where roles included Systems Administrator 2 and IT Consultant. Shane holds a diploma in Network Administration from the Computer Learning Network.
