Shvawn Baker

Shvawn Baker has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. In 1998, they began their career as an HIV/AIDS & Viral Hepatitis Clinical Pharmacist at the Department of Veterans Affairs, where they worked until 2005. From 1999 to 2005, they also served as the Clinical Pharmacy Research Director - Behavioral Medicine Research at the University of Miami.

In 2005, Baker joined Idenix Pharmaceuticals as a Medical Science Liaison, specializing in Viral Hepatitis. After two years, they moved to Abbott Laboratories, where they initially worked as a Medical Science Liaison before becoming the Clinical Science Manager, specializing in Rheumatology. Their tenure at Abbott Laboratories ended in 2010.

Shvawn Baker completed their education with a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine from 2000 to 2004. During this time, their focus of study was on public health and epidemiology. Prior to that, there is no specific information available regarding the duration or completion of their studies at the University of Illinois Chicago, where they pursued a Doctor of Pharmacy - PharmD degree in the field of pharmacy.
