Richard Brandon Mrics

Richard Brandon MRICS has over 25 years of experience in the construction and data center industry. Richard is currently serving as the Vice President and Head of Design & Construction Europe at CyrusOne, a leading global data center developer and operator. In this role, Richard is responsible for delivering state-of-the-art digital infrastructure solutions for nearly 800 customers, including Fortune 1000 companies.

Prior to joining CyrusOne, Richard held various positions at prominent companies in the industry. Richard served as a Partner Member at Infrastructure Masons, where they contributed to the advancement of the industry through collaborative efforts. Richard also worked at Structure Tone as the Director of Mission Critical & International Board Director for over 11 years, and at Digital Realty as the Head of Construction & Delivery - Europe.

Richard started their career at CBRE as an Associate Director in the Mission Critical division and gained valuable experience in this role for over 6 years. Before CBRE, they worked as a Senior Project Manager at Bidwells, where they honed their project management skills.

Throughout their career, Richard has demonstrated expertise in delivering high-performance mission-critical facilities and has contributed significantly to the industry. Richard holds the MRICS qualification, further solidifying their professional competence.

Richard Brandon MRICS has a BSc (Hons) degree in Building Surveying (First Class Honours) from the University of Brighton, which they obtained from 1991 to 1995. In addition, they received a Diploma in French for Business (Distinction) from the University of Brighton in 1991-1992. Richard has also pursued further education in Chartered Surveying as an MRICS at the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and at the Chartered Institute of Building, although specific years are not provided.
